Tane Bowden, born in Whangāmatā, New Zealand, started surfing at 8 and sharpened his skills after moving to Australia’s Gold Coast at 13, right into the heart of elite surf culture.
By 2014, he was already turning heads as a finalist in the Quiksilver King of the Groms. His 2019 surf edit “Full Clip” showed off a refined, high-performance style shaped by idols like Mick Fanning and Jack Freestone, tearing through barrels from Hawaii to Kirra.
Traditionally a model, Tane has drawn on his mix of raw talent and magnetic persona to share with his audience via social media. Working with global brands to the likes of Canada Goose and Esquire & Bonds, Tane is one to watch both on screen and in the water.
